Do not come here she literally chopped 8-10 inches off when I only wanted a trim ! I wish I would’ve read some of these reviews before coming in. I’m not usually the type to leave a review but in this case I absolutely have to. I made an appointment with Jocelyn after noticing my hair was tad bit uneven not a huge deal but about 4 coils where about 1-2 inches longer when I put my hair in a ponytail I expressed to Jocelyn and showed her exactly what the issue was and I requested for her to even it so that I can have a even pony tail. She then cut and choped my hair in such a way that now I cannot even put my hair in a ponytail unless I straighten it ( I usually never put heat to my hair ! ) hair that cam past my mid back now barely touches my shoulders!!!! Not to mention the complete unprofessionalism she had me sitting at the washbowl with wet hair while she was on the phone for about 15 minutes on top of the fact that she was an hour late from the scheduled appointment time we had … no not busy just simply not there …I should of known but all I can say is I have been nonstop crying for days now and it took a lot of courage to write this review If you take time out of your day to read this then you care enough about your hair to make the decision NOT TO come here I will post before and afters

I live in the bronx but was in Florida for a few days and needed my hair done for an event. The staff was amazing especially jocelyn the owner. She was so Charismatic and sweet. They were amazing and took care of me in a professional and loving way. I have curly hair and my curls where in tacked after I had a wash and set done by the salon. I read the prior reviews about curly hair and for me the experience was totally opposite. I absolutely would recommend jocelyn hair salon if you are in the Tampa area and need a place to get your hair done. Great for all hair types !!! Everyone has their own experiences but for me it was great.

Critical:Professionalismwhere do i start. If you have textured hair DO NOT go to this salon. there is no reason for me to be in a salon for 4+ hours straight when i JUST got a wash and set, that’s kind of ridiculous. Gru from despicable me with the walmart balayage thought it was funny to make fun of other clients when i look 10x better than her even on a BAD day (she doesn’t work there either). The owner is incredibly sweet but her annoying daughter needs to focus on getting rid of that double chin instead of whispering under her breath about clients. Jealously is a disease and your insecure texturist clients are ruining your business. If you either 1.Don’t speak spanish or 2.Aren’t related to the owners don’t expect good treatment :)UPDATE: I have finally reverted my hair and i have never received this much damage from a hair salon in my life. my curly hair is STRAIGHT at the ends and still smells like heat after 5 WASHES. IF YOU CANT DO CURLY HAIR DO N O T ACCEPT CURLY HAIRED CLIENTS. I now have to cut SO MUCH of it off and i will be MAKING SURE that i get my money back.Service:Hairstylingwhere do i start. This one in particular was very unprofessional from the moment I made the appointment over the phone till the second I left. They take on more than what they can handle and expect people who have appointments to sit around and wait for them. The lady who helped me initially was an assistant who was very nice however the owner expects you to be okay with her taking people prior to helping you although you have an appointment. I have never walked out of a business with the level of dissatisfaction as I did here. Needless to say that 4 hours later I was still halfway through while With my hair salons i am 3 hours max with an appointment. I left without finishing and was still charged a $2 fee to use my card LOL talk about bad customer service.Service:HairstylingIf I could give zero stars I would.
